If you're on a tight budget and don't want a stroller that can double up as a car seat carrier The Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It has a flip-flop friendly one-step footbrake.
It's simple to push, and it is solid when navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also a breeze to fold.
1. Babyzen YOYO2
The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a reputation as the most stroller that is lightweight, suitable for urban dwellers as well jet-setters. This is due to its extremely nimble handling and fold that fits into the overhead baggage of an aircraft. This latest version features independent suspension on all four wheels comprised of Hytrel elastomer, allowing it to effortlessly traverse all types and terrains'.
The frame's base YOYO2 frame, curved fabric bassinet and six-month color pack create a stylish pushchair that's easy to look at and has a subtle but elegant design and stylish branding. The base frame weighs less than a kilogram, and is so light that it is able to be lifted from the box with one hand.
The hood, for example snaps onto the YOYO2 in a calm manner. It is machine washable up to 30 degrees which helps avoid the stains that result from smushed rice cakes and carrot puffs. It can be used as a pram starting from birth using the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted into a stroller after 6 months using the YOYO Connect additional chassis.
2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore
Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great choice for parents who are looking for a stroller that is versatile. The Evenflo Pivot can be transformed from a stroller into the wagon by turning the handle. Parents can then decide the best mode for their adventure. The wagon can fit one or two children from 6 months to five years old. It has a huge storage basket that can hold everything you need on the go.
The Xplore comes with two canopy options that rotate from front-to-back, providing adequate sun protection for all family members. single convertible stroller has a smaller footprint than some wagons. This might not be ideal for long drives or napping.
The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy, but it does not flex as much as other wagons we tried. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it isn't able to lock securely once folded. It is easy to move, however, and fits through doors that are narrower than 28 inches.
3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side
This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking an affordable, second-hand travel stroller. It scored high in our Strollers and Multiples Test for weight and fold dimensions, which means it's lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to carry and put into a car trunk. It also offers the option of reclining in multiple positions and an adult cup holder. Other key features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.
It performed better in our push and turn test than many of the strollers we tested but is still difficult to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. Its sunshades are among the smallest we tested, offering only direct overhead coverage and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger canopy sizes.

It took us less than 3 minutes to assemble the Delta using a standard manual. None of the parts required tools. But, it's lacking some essential features that we believe it is important to consider as non-negotiable features in a double stroller like a large basket, and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.
4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1
The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's newest pushchair that is advertised as a travel system for urban use. It is suitable from birth until 3.5-years-old. The seat and carrycot can be converted easily with just a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats and comes with the lightweight Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-incar base, and a reversible car.
It's really easy to maneuver, and the one-hand reclining of the seat and the massive shopping basket make it simple for parents to get their child in and out of the seat quickly. Despite being a narrow pushchair it handled the everyday bumps with ease and slid through doors without any fuss.
The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward direction and can also pivot. This is useful for navigating through rough terrain. When we walked along the stony path we let them swivel and it performed well, although it seemed slightly bumpier than other models on test.
5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,
Baby Jogger is famous for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler Jogging pushchairs, however they also have a wide range of 4-wheeler strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It is easy to use and folds down small enough to fit in a car boot even with the carrycot attached.
It's a little heavier than other strollers we tried, but the wheels are rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and durable. It is easy to maneuver on various terrains and even with two kids, a shopping bag and other things.
Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that are able to be lower to reveal a UV50+ sun canopy extension. They are sturdy and waterproof, in contrast to other prams hoods which can be blown back onto toddlers' faces.
It's not the biggest of storage space, however it does have a big basket that's deep enough for a changing bag and plenty of food items. It can also be linked with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies as big as 20 pounds (car seat and adapters sold separately). If you need a stroller that can be used on the road, the City Tour 2 is an excellent option.
6. Nuna Mixx Next
Nuna Mixx was a stroller that captured the hearts of a large number of parents when it first came out. It is an aluminium-framed stroller that can be used from infant's first days until. It has many standout features, like the ability of the seat to be turned between the front facing parent and the outside and a huge UPF50+ canopy with a flip-out eyeshade, and an adjustable handlebar.
The chassis comes with an integrated suspension system that reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed from tough foam and minimise punctures. Our tester found it smooth to push and was able to manoeuvre it through tight streets with ease.
It locks automatically and folds in just four steps. It can also be rolled and raised for easier transport down the stairs or in the trunk of the car. It also comes travel system equipped with the option to include a car seat or carrycot using the adaptors that come with it. The brakes come with only one action and are colour coded. They also are compatible with flip-flops.
7. Babyzen Duet
This budget pushchair is easy to use and comes with an excellent dual suspension. It can be folded by one hand and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It's also very light and robust. The seat can be reclined in several positions. It comes with a built-in double breathable mattress that is suitable for babies from birth.
The canopy/seat features two extra-large fixed or flip-out sun visors and both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn’t ideal since it's not as silent as Velcro, and can wake up napping babies.
The Duet is a stroller that can be used side-by-side and can be adapted to take twins or siblings (up to 22kg maximum per seat). It can be used with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be positioned so that they face each other. They can also be positioned towards the parents. This will help reduce sibling arguments over who gets seated with mom and dad. It comes with a massive bottle holder, gear tray, snack trays and an adjustable mat. It also comes with a compact stand fold and automatic frame lock.
8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2
The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger designed for parents who want to keep active. It's one of the lightest running strollers you can purchase for your child and offers amazing safety features, including a 5-point harness and safety wrist strap. It also comes with an innovative twist hand brake that's different from the lever type used on rival models.
The seat is comfortable and has a wide area to sit in, however the depth of the seat is not as deep as other joggers we've tested (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin is secured with a zipper to keep things secure. It can hold up to 10lbs that is enough for most diaper bags.
The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters for most infant car seats and bassinets, but you can use them from the first day with adapters that will fit brands like BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds compactly and takes 5-10 minutes to assemble with no tools. The user manual is easy to read and includes multiple languages.
